International Zeolite AssociationThe International Zeolite Association (IZA) was organized to promote and encourage the development of all aspects of zeolite science and technology. The Association hold international meetings every three years. Other activities are described on the web page. |
International Adsorption SocietyThe International Adsorption Society has the following goals: to serve people, firms, and organizations who seek to advance the art, science, and technology of adsorption and related subjects, by publishing and distributing a journal and by conducting meetings and/or seminars. |
The Zeolites WebZeolites are an important class of aluminosilicate crystalline materials which find many useful applications in industry. Their unique properties, find uses in such diverse fields as oil cracking, nuclear waste and household detergents. They number over 600. Both natural mineral forms and synthetic forms exist. These pages are intended to provide a brief introduction to zeolites and are accompanied by the Molecular Sieves Database, a compilation of information about different zeolite frameworks. |
North American Catalysis SocietyThe North American Catalysis Society was founded in 1956 to promote and encourage the growth and development of the science of catalysis and those scientific disciplines ancillary thereto; to provide educational services to members and other interested individuals; to organize and participate in professional meetings of scientists; to report, discuss and exchange information and viewpoints in the field of catalysis; to serve as a central exchange for the several catalysis clubs concerning information on their activities; and to provide liaison with foreign catalysis societies, with the International Congress on Catalysis, and with other scientific organizations and individuals, no pecuniary gain or profit to members, incidental or otherwise, being contemplated. The Society is an affiliation of 13 local Catalysis Clubs and Societies in North America. The Society publishes a quarterly Newsletter with news of Club activities, announcements of meetings and other news of interest to those involved in catalytic science. In addition, the society gives four major awards in catalysis and holds a major scientific meeting every two years. |
