Pore Shape of UCSB-7K
This zeotype (Gier et al. Nature 395 (1998) 154-57) has a non-interconnecting pair of 3D helical pores. Unfortunately, the structure has not been synthesized without cations and it is unstable to water loss. However, it does provide an interesting system for the study of chiral compound adsorption and diffusion.
